Loan Eligibility Criteria

1. Individuals employed in government, semi-government, autonomous, private organizations, businesses, and those with a bank account at Janata Bank, alongside citizens, may be considered eligible for obtaining this loan.
2. The applicant must be a Bangladeshi citizen.
3. The applicant should maintain an individual account in any branch of Janata Bank.
4. The primary credit cardholder’s age limit is 21 to 60 years, and for supplementary credit cardholders, it is 21 to 60 years.

Security Requirements

a) Unsecured Loans: In cases of unsecured loans, references/guarantees from an employee at the same or higher level as the applicant are required, and for other customers, references/guarantees from a person close to the bank are necessary.

b) Secured Loans: In cases of secured loans, the applicant must pledge FDR/DPS/JBSPS/WES Earners bond and deposit as described in section “b” along with references/guarantees as in section “a.”

Loan Limits:

• For unsecured credit cards, the credit limit, including supplementary cards, is a maximum of BDT 200,000.
• For secured credit cards, the credit limit, including supplementary cards, is a maximum of BDT 4,000,000.
